The High Desert Luthiery Invitational is an event intended to show appreciation for and celebration of the age-old art of luthiery.

Though similar events exist in the country, this one is revolutionary in that it celebrates artists without compulsory financial investment in booth spaces, and allows the public to experience the unique craft without attendance fees, both of which otherwise pose limitations on who can exhibit and attend.
